From Interstate 10 to the Lightning Gate (Main Gate)
Take exit 128 north onto Litchfield Road. Travel north on Litchfield Road approximately 16 miles to the Lightning Gate, on the west side of Litchfield Road. Lightning Gate is the main gate for Luke Air Force Base.
From Loop 101 in the West Valley of Phoenix metropolitan area to Lightning Gate (Main Gate)
Take the Glendale Avenue exit off Loop 101. Travel west approximately 10 miles to Litchfield Road. Turn south onto Litchfield Road. Lightning Gate is on west side of Litchfield Road.
To get to the 56th Medical Group from the Lightning Gate
Proceed west through the Lightning Gate on Super Sabre Street. Turn right on Fighter Country Avenue and travel north. Turn right on Falcon Street and travel east over the bridge. Continue traveling east (on Thunderbird Street) to 138th Avenue. Turn left and travel north on 138th Avenue to the parking lot of the 56th Medical Group.
